NYVR - Nov 2024

I am excited to formally announce our upcoming November 14th NYVR Meetup. It will be our normal format of 6-7pm Demos/Networking, 7-8pm Presentations, and 8-9pm, more Demos/Networking. Below is the lineup of amazing presenters and here is the link to the live stream that will start at 7pm.

1) Gary Motovoy - Gary is Founder of Aqua VR and GO Smell VR. AquaVR is a dual-tube full-face snorkel mask with a built-in waterproof compartment for the Meta Quest 3 VR headset, designed specifically for underwater activities and adventures. GO Smell VR is a technology that allows users to experience scents and vibrations during VR gameplay.

2) Mary Ann Powers - Mary Anne will provide updates on the 8th Annual MIT Reality Hackathon and upcoming XR Guild events

3) Caley Taylor, Madi Gong and Andrew Williams - Caley, Enterprise Customer Success Manager, Madi, Customer Operations Manager and Andrew, Education and Implementation Specialist who are all based in NYC. Gravity Sketch is an intuitive 3D design platform for cross-disciplinary teams to create, collaborate, and review in an entirely new way. The team will share about the major verticals we work with, customer success stories and how we support the design community.

4) Brandon Turnage - Varjo makes the highest-immersion virtual and mixed-reality products for advanced XR users.
