5k walk Castaways Park

Join us to walk 3.1 miles around Castaways Park in Newport Beach. This is a pleasant walk with views of the Newport Back Bay. One loop around the park is approximately 1.4 miles, so you can opt to do one loop, two, or a little extra to complete a full 5k.

This will be the last preparation walk for those in the group participating in the 5k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, but anyone who wants to join us in getting some excercise is welcome. The goal is for everyone to come away feeling good about walking a 5k today. Note that we will not be practicing running a 5k, though some of us may choose to work on that separately.

*To get into the parking lot for the park you'll need to turn onto castaway ln. It's marked with a sign and is the driveway just before the Lutheran church’s parking lot.
