CRITIQUE SESSIONS FOR 2022 ARE ON HOLD

GUIDELINES FOR CRITIQUE GROUP

Critique sessions for OC Writers Guild members working on longer manuscripts are reserved for regular attendees of the weekly prompt writing sessions.

A prospective member must attend the prompt group for a minimum of 10 weeks prior to being considered for invitation into the critique group.

Membership will be by invitation from existing critique group members.

Critique group members must regularly attend critique group meetings (we all have lives, but showing up only when you have your own pieces to review will not be permitted).

Submissions must be formatted in 12-point type, double-spaced. A maximum of 10 pages are permitted for review per member per meeting.

Five submissions will be reviewed per meeting. Additional submissions will be reviewed at the next meeting.

A maximum of five minutes per reviewer will be spent on each submission during the meeting.
