Oregon Computer Consultants Meeting - December 3rd

The "November" meeting of the Oregon Computer Consultants Association will be held on December 3rd to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving week.

Please join us at 6 PM on December 3rd for our approximately-monthly computer consultants' meeting, held in person at Tom's Pancake House in Beaverton.

Agenda:

• 6:00 - 6:30 PM: Board Meeting, all members welcome. Includes a peek at the OCCA elections so far.
• 6:30 - 8:00 PM: General Meeting: Dinner and discussion about tech issues, new technology and problems or solutions we've encountered.

Scheduled Topics:

• Zoom Phones. How they work and the good and bad.
• The case against 2FA!
• Firewalls. What are their costs versus benefits and when to use them. Which ones do you install? What do they provide that a simple NAT router doesn’t?
• Other topics as may arise
