Join Surfrider friends of Vancouver meetup group for a beach cleanup at Third Beach, Stanley Park from 10-11:30am, September 21.
This event is a great way to meet new friends, while to helping to preserve our beautiful coastline and protect wildlife. This event is officially run by Surfrider Foundation Vancouver, a volunteer non-profit, who will provide all clean up items and record all your efforts into a conservation database.
There will be some fun giveaways and prizes!! And we encourage you to bring your friends, snacks / drinks and good vibes! If possible please bring gloves and a bucket as we have a limited supply. If not, we got you!

Vancouver Aquarium is open after hours on Sept 21st for a special Shrimp-tember Edition of Fish + Sips, an after dark aquatic adventure... for adults!
Guests 19+ are invited to explore the wonders of wildlife and soak up good vibes as the sun sets in Stanley Park. The Ocean Film Festival World Tour, now in its 11th year, is back this in 2024 with a breath-taking lineup of awe-inspiring films that explore the wonders of the ocean from both aerial and underwater perspectives. This year promises to be the most exhilarating yet, with seven films set to grace the silver screen. There are a series of ocean inspired films which will screen from 7-10 pm.
Buy your ticket here on eventbrite for $28. We will meet up at 6pm before the movies to get to know each other and grab a drink @ Browns Socialhouse @ 1764 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2J7.
