Name: Ammonite Falls/Benson Creek Loop Hike from Wiegles Rd

This loop hike begins at the Weigles Rd parking lot trailhead and follows a forested path to a steep set of stairs leading to Benson Creek bridge. The trail continues upward to Ammonite Falls and then onward to several connecting trails that lead back to the parking lot. Pit toilets at trailhead.

**Distance:** 4 miles
**Duration:** 2 hours
**Accumulated Elevation Gain:** 702 feet

**Terrain:** There are several sets of steep stairs to climb during the hike. Overall elevation gain is moderate. Sections of the trail are steep and slippery.

**Fitness Level Required:** To participate in this hike you should have good agility and balance to traverse the uneven terrain and good cardio fitness. Not suitable for folks with mobility or cardiac issues.
