OC Tech is a community of technology professionals in Orange County, California. With a network of nearly 8,000 members, the group provides a fun and supportive environment for embracing the startup culture, making new friends, finding investors, investing in companies, learning about cutting-edge technology, and generally being a good human being.

Featuring expert speakers and panelists, the Crafting Your Startup Pitch So Investors Will Listen workshop will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 4:00PM to 6:30PM at the Greater Irvine Chamber, 36 Executive Park, Suite 100, Irvine.
Workshop presenters Scott Fox, CEO of OC Startup Council, and Lisa Thomas, founder of Main Street Marketing Partners, will discuss:
- What investors look for when deciding to back a startup
- Why telling your story effectively is so important & how to do it
Moderated by the OC Startup Council's Scott Fox, Pat Hwang, president of TCA Venture Group, Chi Pham, founder of Founders Flow, and Mike Stone, chief investment officer of Sunstone Management will comprise a panel along with Thomas, who will discuss:
- The most compelling way to deliver your deck
- Overcoming challenges with pitches
- Understanding why & how large companies support startups
