We'll have a short ride to keep our energy going for the holidays and burn off a few cookies. Karen Wright will lead this ride on the Northern section of Upper Tampa Bay Trail (UTBT). We will meet in the parking lot on the south side of Lutz Lake Fern (LLF) Road east of Gunn Highway and west of the Veterans Expressway. From the Lutz Lake Fern Road (LLF) Trailhead we'll bike to Van Dyke Road out and back. This trail out and back is approximately total 7 miles. Time is 45min - 1 hour based upon the Riders. This is a level, smooth, pine woodland trail through the Brooker Creek Perserve. At the LLF Trailhead you will park for a fee of $2, there are restrooms, water fountain, air, and repair tools.

There are 2 additional options for those who want to ride additional miles. Judy can help coordinate these from the LLF Trailhead, but you may ride without a leader. *When you RSVP, it will be assumed you want the standard ride unless you comment Option 1 or 2*.

**Option 1**. Meet at 9:30, ride from LLF Trailhead along LLF Road trail, cross LLF Road at the flashing light, and ride to the entrance of the Suncoast Expressway and back. This segment will be a \~3 additional miles. You would then meet up with the whole group at the LLF trailhead for the \~7 miles, a total of 10 miles.

**Option 2.** Meet at 9 AM ride from LLF Trailhead along LLF Road trail, cross LLF Road at the flashing light, and ride on to the Suncoast Expressway and back meeting up with the group assembling at 10 AM. Estimates are the ride would be 15-17 miles.

Lunch location will be determined after RSVPs for the ride come in. Karen will base the lunch location upon who is riding and where they live.
