Details
This is a 5.5 mile round-trip, out and back walk on the Ediz Hook in Port Angeles. It is flat and mostly paved, but might involve some beach walking, too. We will park at the Port Angeles Yacht Club and walk west towards Ediz Hook, passing Tse-whit-zen, the site of a 2,700 year old S'klallam village, the McKinley Paper Mill, and end at the Coast Guard station. We may see some feral cats at the cat colony.
Parking is free and no pass needed. No public restrooms here, but there are restrooms at the end of the Hook.
Leashed dogs are welcome.
High tide is at 1211 pm at 6.7 feet.
