Meeting begins at 6:30 pm with a brief introduction, readings, guided meditation, resting together in the Noble Silence, followed by a brief Dharma Talk, Inquiry (open to sharing what was noticed) along with a period for Q&A and discussion.

This is an opportunity to practice meditation in community, geared towards anyone on the path of recovery. Friends who are in any recovery group, are interested in recovery and would like to come practice and learn with us, are all welcome to come! It is our intention to cultivate a safe space by being gentle and nurturing to mental health and clarity of mind. The practices and teachings are grounded in loving-kindness, compassion, self-care, beginner’s mind, starting from within. Friends from all experience levels are welcome. This is a donation based meeting, suggested offering is $10, but any amount is appreciated. No one turned away for lack of funds. For questions email [email protected].

Scott has been meditating for eight years and he completed Osher Center’s Mindfulness Facilitation Training in 2019. He is a trained and certified recovery specialist, mindfulness meditation teacher and case manager. Scott leads many mindfulness classes each week and his mission is to help others find continuous peace, purpose and connectedness all while having fun!
