Yin Yoga is a relaxed and mindful practice of sustained postures (up to 10 min.) focused on stimulating the "chi" in the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping students to open the body while cultivating their ability to tune in and listen before surrendering to (rather than trying to control) their feelings.
No pre-reg required, but PLEASE arrive early if you've never been to the studio. You will need to fill out a waiver and get signed in.
Bring your yoga mat and dress in layers. The studio has all of the other props you will need, including mats, if you don't have one.
