OCCATS December Hike & Lunch (Rimcrest Trail Head in Chino Hills State Park)

HIKE: If it rains, the hike is canceled, but the lunch is still on!
Park along the right side of Rimcrest Drive (drive toward the top of the street because often early hikers are leaving at about that time). Meet at the trail head. Please arrive a few minutes early (by 8:45am) to find parking and walk up to the trail head as we will begin right at 9am. This is about a 5 mile moderate hike (70-90 min), with a few steady hills on this walk. Hiking poles can be helpful on some of the uphill sections. There are no public restrooms available (so limit your coffee drinking in the morning, ladies!). Good hiking shoes are recommended on this trail, but good walking shoes that don't slip easily are fine. Bring water and sunscreen if sunny.
