Meet & Greet Holiday Dinner Meetup

Join us for food, fandom, and friendship at our Meet & Greet dinner at Woody's Diner in Laguna Hills. We'll talk about our favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV shows and movies and go over upcoming events as we get to know each other a little better. Plus, because it's our holiday Meet & Greet, everyone who attends gets to choose something from our assortment of geeky gifts and nerdy novelties.

Festive holiday attire is encouraged but not required. I'll be wearing a sci-fi/fantasy-themed ugly Christmas sweater. Also, a donations box will be there for those who want to help with the cost of running this group.

We'll be sitting in the back section of the restaurant. It can get chilly so bring a sweater or light jacket. When you arrive, tell the host/hostess you're with the OC Sci-Fi group.

It's okay if you can't be there by 6:30—just post a comment that you'll be late so we save a chair for you.

NOTE: Woody’s doesn’t do individual checks for groups. Although you can use a card, paying with cash makes it easier to split up the checks. If possible, please bring small denominations ($1, $5, and $10 bills).

Woody's Diner is in the Oakbrook Village shopping center off Avenida de la Carlota, right behind the Laguna Hills Mall. Stay on Carlota past the mall and, at the stop sign, turn right into Oakbrook Village. Woody's will be directly in front of you on the corner.

A note to those coming from north of Laguna Hills: If traffic on the 5 or 405 heading south is bad (which it usually is), try taking the Lake Forest Dr. exit which, if you keep going straight, empties onto Ave de la Carlota which will eventually bring you to Oakbrook Village.
