What we’re about
------ Welcome Hiking Adventurers------
We are a hiking and outdoor adventure meetup group that is part of the Sierra Club, whose mission it is to Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the Planet.
With our group you will find everything from the easiest local beginner hikes (2 miles and 200ft of gain) to half day exploration hikes in our local parks and hills (Whiting Ranch, Laguna Coast Park), to more advanced day long hikes in our scenic mountain ranges (Mt Baldy, Big Bear, Palomar), to multi-day winter sports excursions, to multi-day camping trips, informative programs, and much more!
All our hikes feature a leader and a sweep so you will never get left behind, and we focus on the enjoyment and the safety of the group.
You do not have to be a member of the Sierra Club to participate in any of our hikes!
Come enjoy hiking, camping, and other adventures with an outdoor and environmental organization that has been around for 130 years!
