Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Hike

Easy paced, reasonably flat, 5 mile hike, approx 3 hrs. Newcomers Welcome. Enjoy the natural beauty of Bolsa Chica, land of the Acjachemen and Tongva, one of the last remaining wetland ecosystems in Southern California. No matter how many times you visit the Bolsa Chica, there is always something different to see or learn. Meet 8:30 am. From Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach turn south on Bolsa Chica Street to the end of the street and trailhead (Brightwater Drive). Park on the street. Bring camera, water, sun protection, hat, light hiking boots, rain does not cancel. Arrive early for parking, ecological reserve-no dogs, no restrooms.
