Let's have some fun! As we do each year, we get to know our members just a little bit better through their written words. California Writers Club members have the opportunity to read aloud 2 minutes of their written works to our audience.

Keep in mind that readers will be limited to official members of the CWC. Guests will not be invited to read at this event. However, this is a good way to learn about the members. Come enjoy the original writings from heartfelt to humorous to mesmerizing to mysterious, discover kindred spirits among OC's finest writing community.

In January our featured speaker format will return as the CWC Orange County chapter continues to provide education, inspiration, and motivation to local writers. But in the spirit of the holiday season, we take the time to get to know each other just a little better this month and share some written gems. Come join us!

We are returning back to our century-old roots when the club founders met inside coffee shops and restaurants to discuss the writing craft. Featured speaker meetings will include networking, author book signings, and more. The Anaheim Packing House is excited to host our group in a historic building has been converted into a “food hall” hosting dozens of food vendors. This will be a great place to grab your morning coffee or pastry, and then listen to our featured speaker.

The California Writers Club has been uniting and inspiring writers for over 100 years. Meetup.com is a basic introduction to this established off-line group. The membership is comprised of local writers, more than half of whom have published or Amazon self-published books, sharing inspiration, motivation, information, and resources. This local writers group is a great place to become an active participant in the OC writing community.
