NEW CLUB ALERT!
KUNGALOOSH! To all who come to this happy group: Welcome to the Orlando Society of Explorers and Adventurers! Also known as O.S.E.A.
The world seems to get crazier on a daily basis. Often wherever we turn our heads we're bombarded with negativity whether on social media or what news is trending on current events (even within the House of Mouse). This club strives to be a place free from all that drama with our Disney passion as the foundation for the glue to bind us.
Our hope is to gather like-minded kindred Disney spirits together for in person social outings and events. More often than not it will be a trip to Disney World (you don't have to be an Annual Passholder / Magic Keyholder but it helps!). We will often piggy back on larger events at the Disney Parks, some of which offer opportunities for cosplay or themed attire (Dapper Day, Oogie-Boogie Bash, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Late Nite Special Events, D23 Expo, Destination D23, etc.), but of course jaunts to Disney World are always welcome. This is NOT an online or virtual group. It's a place for Disney friends to connect in person in real life.
Although Disney World will be our primary park, there will be opportunities throughout the year to visit Disneyland. We also are planning to shoot for one big event annually such as an international trip like Tokyo Disneyland or maybe a Disney cruise with Castaway Cay as a stop or possibly Aulani in Hawaii.
Sounds fun, huh? So leave politics, drama from current events, and all negativity at home and instead please bring your optimism, your sense of humor, and share your fervor for all things Disney. And oh yeah, do you wanna build a snowman or what?
Come celebrate the holidays with us at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We're doing one of the final parties of the season. They sellout so if serious about going snag a ticket here.
Official check-in for the event will take place at the Main Entrance to Magic Kingdom park beginning at 4:00 PM, but the holiday party festivities don’t begin until 7:00 PM.
Be sure to RSVP so we can plan on meeting up for the event earlier in the day.

This D23 holiday event was just announced! For those who have never been on the Disney Studios lot, this is a great opportunity to check it out. Instead of copying all the details I'll just include a link to the event here. Although you don't have to be a D23 member to attend, please note this is a ticketed event. These things sellout quick so if you're interested don't hesitate! PLEASE NOTE THIS IN BURBANK, CA WHERE DISNEY STUDIOS IS LOCATED! (one of the reasons the start is 7PM EST as it's really 4PM PST)
Some of us have booked a hotel for the night and will be on a plane the following morning heading to Disney World for the week (including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party). If interested, let us know for more details.

IMPORTANT: As of now, we snagged an 11AM dinner package at La Crêperie de Paris for the 5PM show. Our goal is to modify this if possible in order to get the 8:15PM but this at least guarantees us something. It's also the 2nd least expensive dinner package offered.
Come listen to the story of Christmas retold by a celebrity narrator and massed choir—accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets and the Voices of Liberty. Neil Patrick Harris will be doing it December 17th and 18th but wer're shooting for the 17th.
- Showtime: 8:15 PM (also at 5PM and 6:45PM if you can't make the late one)

Dinner packages are the best way to secure a seat, especially for popular speakers like Neil. Currently they seem to be sold out for the event but by checking back often seats do open up. Seats are also available on a first come first serve basis as well as there's a same day dinner package at Reagle Eagle which is also the cheapest out of them all.
