Have you ever seen it snow in Central Florida? Me neither. Until now in Celebration! Beginning November 30th through December 31st, 2024, there will be snowfall 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00pm in Celebration Towne Center.
Should you wish, you can also showcase your skating skills on a large synthetic 'ice' skating rink. Additionally, there will be Charles Dickens-style carolers, photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, and a train ride for you to enjoy. Click here for pricing.
After snowfall, we can also explore the stores in Celebration. And get a drink and/or a bite to eat there. Alternatively, we can head over to Disney Springs, and enjoy a festive stroll, encountering elaborately themed Christmas trees inspired by Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Superhero favorites. And get a drink and/or a bite to eat there.
Meetup time at Celebration is 5:30pm outside New York Bakery Boys, located on Market Street. See map. At 5:45pm, the group will head towards the Market Street Christmas tree area to experience the 6:00pm snowfall.

- Christmas in the ParkCentral Park on Park Avenue, Winter Park, FL
Christmas in Winter Park is launched by an evening of beautiful music and lighted Tiffany leaded-glass windows. The concert and lighted windows are presented by the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble and the Morse Museum.
This is a free outdoor event. Meetup time is at 6:30pm outside the Winter Park Train Station entrance. At about 6:45pm, the group will relocate to Central Park to enjoy the music and festivities. This year, two additions to the holiday sights and sounds are a "cathedral of lights" and a carousel.
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
Free street parking is available on Park Avenue and the surrounding area. Including the Winter Park Train Station parking lot. The 1st, 4th, 5th levels of the parking garage located behind Panera Bread are also free. The entrance is on W. Canton Avenue (to the right of Panera Bread). There is also a Rollins College Truist parking garage located close by.
Should there be interest within the group, after the concert we can then head over to AJ Chocolate House to enjoy a cup of delicious hot chocolate, coffee drink or alternative beverage available from their menu.

Let's enjoy Winter Garden's first Christmas open-air market! Festive entertainment and activities, including a light show, golf cart parade, strolling holiday-themed performers, Dickens carolers ♬, and lots more. Santa drops by 6:30pm-8:00pm. Ho ho ho! Picturesque market stalls will tempt you with décor, unique gifts, treats and beverages for purchase.
We will meet outside Axum Coffee at 5:00pm. Address: 146 W Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787. At 5:15pm, the group will explore the holiday market.
Downtown Winter Garden parking is free. Including the parking garage located on S. Lakeview Ave. Additional parking facilities, walkable to the event, are:

Veterans Memorial Park, 420 S. Park AveParking along West Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue, and a portion of the adjoining side streets, will not be available for parking due to the road closures.

This a great opportunity to learn about bees and beekeeping at the Black Hammock Bee Farm. BEEcause it's fun and educational. Additionally, honey tastes good and is great for allergies!
The class is $80 + tax if you purchase your ticket directly by phone (tel: 407-365-2337) or in person at the farm. A $7.21 fee is added for tickets purchased online via Eventbrite. The class size is limited to 20 people (though the farm may be able to accommodate a couple of extra people).
This class was scheduled by the Black Hammock Bee Farm on November 22, 2024. Should you be interested in attending, I STRONGLY suggest you purchase a ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Per the bee farm, all ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded or transferred.
You will hold frames and bees (if you want to) and really immerse yourself in as a beekeeper.
This class will cover all the basics and how to be a backyard beekeeper. Class time is 9AM to 2PM. Lunch will be catered, and refreshments are provided throughout the class. There will be a Q&A session where you can ask Dennis The Bee Guy anything! There will also be yummy Honey Tasting and you can visit the farm store!
NOTE: Pants and closed toe shoes are required. NO yoga pants, NO holes in pants. If you (unlikely) have a bee suit, please bring it. The farm will have extra bee suits for those who do not have one.
Meetup time at the bee farm is 8:30am. The class starts at 9am. Free parking is available at the farm.
