We play at the Kino South Sports Complex Pickleball courts.

**NEW! For Thursday sessions, I close the RSVPs at 8 during the summer . HOWEVER, get on wait list and please put in a comment about wanting to come and when I have four people, I will be happy to make another team**. It's just difficult when you get an odd number of people wanting to play.

The entrance to the facility is located on Benson Highway, just east of Campbell Avenue. Easy parking next to facility. Bathrooms and water available.
(Please note: this facility also has soccer fields which are frequently in use. If you see a lot of cars in the lot, don't panic. It's more than likely they are people using the soccer fields, not the Pickleball courts.)

**We start warming up at 5:30 pm; play starts at 5:45pm.**

**If you are new to this group**, please let Joan know your playing level, by putting it in the Comments. We try to group by level but we are a social group and expect players to rotate and play with other members in the group.

If you are an absolute beginner, we are NOT the group for you. We suggest taking some lessons. Reffkin Tennis Center (public place) has good beginner lessons.

**Oro Valley Outdoor Fun! Thursday Evening Guidelines**

Because of difficulties we are experiencing over late cancellations/no shows, we have reorganized rules for this group.

\- To be clear\, we play in groups of 4\. **When you do not show up, you leave three people hanging.**
\- I**f you are running late, PLEASE let us know.** That way we can tell your team that you are on the way. I prefer a text. My cell is 970-593-8769
**You MUST cancel 24 hours in advance** to avoid playing restrictions for next time. Canceling at least 24 hours before gives the host a fighting chance of finding someone else to fill that space.
\- Canceling *less* than 24 hours ahead will have a penalty of one week not playing both Tuesday night and Saturday morning.
**If you ghost us** \- sign up\, don’t show up AND don’t notify us you aren’t coming\, you will incur one week of NO activities at all with Oro Valley Outdoor Fun\. That includes hikes\, Pickleball\, etc\.
Naturally, if something major happens - your house burns down, accident, hospital - we will understand. **But signing up to play is a responsibility to three other people.**

* **If you are short a player, please let your host know.** We might be able to find someone else at Kino to play with us. However, please do NOT invite outside players to play with you if you are already on a full team - we are a social group that plays with its members *only* during the scheduled times.
\- If you bring an extra person with you to play without signing that person up\, please understand that you and that other person will be rotating in and out of games but other members of the team will not\.
