\# ABOUT THE HIKE \#
We will start the hike around from P15 shortly after 10AM. This is a longer trail with several ascents and descents. See the Ride with GPS link for the elevation profile.

\# CAR POOLING LOCATION \#
For those interested in car pooling, we will meet for car pooling at the time and location scheduled on meetup. The car pooling location is at Riverain Park parking lot (McArthur @ North River Road). From there we will depart for the starting location of the hike promptly 5 minutes later. The firm departure time is set out of respect of people who do show up on time and due to the regular occurrence of no-shows.

If you plan on riding with someone please aim to arrive just before the scheduled meetup time to work out with whom you will be obtaining a ride. Please also plan on contributing towards the cost of gas and parking. For one person I would suggest contributing 60-70% towards fuel and parking costs, for two or more people, split the cost between all passengers. A rough way of calculating these costs would be $5 for every 20 minutes driven plus the cost of parking.

\# PREREQUISITES \#
Good hiking shoes and comfortable walking long distances at a reasonable pace.

\# ABOUT THE HIKE AND SOCIAL ASPECTS \#
There are many purposes in this outing including sharing and helping people to appreciate and enjoy the simple things in life: immersing oneself in the forest, healthy exercise with others as well as the social experience.

Pack plenty of water with something to replenish your electrolytes, and sufficient snacks to maintain a moderate level of exertion for the duration of the hike. If there is sufficient interest we can stop for a social somewhere afterwards.

\# INTENDED PARTICIPANTS
This outing is only able to accept adults 18 and over as attendees or guests. Also, please do not bring dogs or other pets. One dog/pet on their own may be well behaved and up for the outing, but should I accept one dog/pet I will be accepting all dogs/pets and together they may not be sufficiently well behaved and interfere with the intended purpose of the Outing.

I will make exceptions for Service Animals under the assumption they are well trained and as a result unlikely to interfere with the intended purpose of the activity. Please inform me at least a day beforehand if you intend to bring a Service Animal.

\# WEATHER AND INTEREST DEPENDENT \#
Please note that this activity is weather and interest dependent. In case of poor weather or minimal interest look for an update from me to confirm that the outing will go ahead as planned. I will try to provide everyone with an update at least 90 minutes before the scheduled start of the Outing.
