Our next movie - The Substance

We haven't yet done a horror pic - and I have to admit horror isn't really my genre. But this film has a lot of buzz arising from its award-winning performance at the Cannes film festival. I was in Toronto at TIFF this past week and people were definitely talking about it. So I've decided I just have to see it. Who wouldn't want to see Demi Moore (and Randy Quaid) in what has been described as a "body horror" movie. It's not purely a horror flic as it has a high dose of social satire focusing on humanitý's constant search for the perfect body. Because this movie will end late on a Sunday evening (its more than 2 hours long), we won't gather for a drink afterwards. But be prepared to give it your rating (on a scale from 1-10) as we leave the theater.
