Talks
For November's meetup, we have two talks (and one lightning) lined up:

1. Introduction to the Decentralized Web by Mauve Signweaver

The web is currently based on HTTP and it's client-server foundations, but there's other ways for data to be published and seen by users. This talk will go over how we can have a more resilient foundation for the web using peer to peer file transfer protocols like IPFS or Hypercore Protocol. We will also go over some easy to use tools for publishers and readers as well as app developers.

2. React 19 goodies by Mat Dupont
No more "useMemo" mic drop.

ConFoo (February 26-28, Montreal)
ConFoo is back for its 23rd edition, at Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, with a full stack of incredible talks with the best speakers in the tech. It’s with great pleasure that we would like to announce the unveiling of our speaker’s team for our 2025 event. We are especially proud of this year’s program, which will touch on a large variety of talks such as: Artificial intelligence, Management, Security, Cloud Computing, Architecture & Design Patterns, PHP, JavaScript, DotNet, etc.
