**Intermediate = You know 95% of rules and score counting & you are comfortable with competitive game play.**
We play 120 min and rotate if there are more than 4 ppl.

**This is Not a 'Casual' Event! You Must Be Committed to attending**.
Get on Waitlist, then if you are an Intermediate and in good standing, and your messaging is enabled, I'll move you to Going. If 6 are already signed up, put yourself on the waitlist to show interest in this event and time, and its good in case someone drops out.
With a history of no-shows or cancelations you will not be going to these events.

**This event intended for Intermediate players that seek more competitive Pickleball play.**
For unsupervised, non-coached play, 2 hours. I try to arrange events for Beginners, 'Random Play', and Novice as well.

Others depend on your attendance. **Keep your Eye on the Ball!** Please **Update your RSVP ASAP if you find things don't work out, even if you are on the waitlist, and remove your RSVP if you cannot check your change in Waitlist status before this event.** **Cancel your Going RSVP at least 24 hours before this event**. When you sign-up, Please Plan your day for this event, and check the weather forecast.

Great Outdoor Courts for Pickleball.

Arrive by 5:00 PM ready to play. We go on available courts as soon as we can, reserved at 6 pm. **Arrive earlier if you are unfamiliar** with the location.

**Free Parking** at Bayview Public School next door, park near the park.

**Facilities: a porta-potty in the park**, there's a pub and a City Rec. Centre not far away on McCarthy Rd.
Bing your bags & things into the court area and hang or lean against the fence.

$2.00 for court reservation fee.
Just the annual **$5.00 paid to me in cash** at the event if you haven't paid yet. Its best to bring **$5 bill.**

**What to Bring:** water, sun glasses & sun visor, pickleball paddle and appropriate sportswear & court shoes, maybe a small towel, maybe a fav pickleball.

By your registration to this event, you are agreeing to absolve any responsibilities or liabilities on the host(s) and organizer(s) of any injuries to yourself, or lost or stolen items, while participating in this event or any accidents that may occur in travel to and from this event. Pickle ball provides some physical stress, and requires some physical coordination. By signing up you also agree that you are in sufficiently sound physical condition.
I am not trained in First Aid, physical training, or Pickleball instruction.
You agree to sign up to this event totally at your own risk.

# Safety Rules: a priority.

* **don't chase the ball if it is obviously going out**. People have crashed over the barrier. I would worry that people may also collide with each other or the wall.
* when your ball goes into another court, **yell "Ball on Court"**
* **never run or walk onto or near another court while play is in action**. Ask to retrieve your ball once play is stopped.
* **Never run backwards**, turn sideways and shuffle or turn around and run forward
* **Remain mindful of your partner's position.** In Pickleball we play side-to-side, not front & back. So generally you stay on your side of the court.
* **Doing a Smash?** Direct your shot away from your opponents or at their feet.
