Trieste is a really beautiful Italian city and I thought it would make a lovely weekend break for the group.

Located right at the border with Slovenia, Trieste is one of the most interesting cities to visit in Italy. For centuries the place was at the crossroads, under different rules and influences that created a peculiar cosmopolitan city and its unique vibe that visitors can enjoy today.

But still, not that many people visit Trieste (in comparison with other popular destinations in the area). Which is a shame as it has stunning architecture, a distinctive atmosphere, and lots of amazing things to do.

Book you own flight which will cost around £80. There will be the option to stay for either 2 nights and come back on the Sun or 3 nights and come back on the Mon. Hotels will be around £100 for 2 nights and £150 for the 3 based on twin room sharing. I will make sure that the hotel has free cancellation in case we can't go due to covid but hoping things will still ok in Jan 2025. There is a £50 deposit to pay now to secure your place.
