Let’s walk off some of that Thanksgiving meal at Synergy Park in Kilgore! This peaceful park has a picturesque 10 acre lake with an easy walking trail. How many loops you take around the lake depends on how much turkey and pie you ate! I plan to walk the inner path, then the outer path, then walk it going the opposite direction. Each time around is about 1.3 miles if you include the little extra loop.

The lake is stocked with fish, including trout at certain times, and has a great fishing pier if anyone is interested in that.

Leashed dogs are welcome. Please always clean up after your pet. Entry is free so no cash is needed, but don’t forget your water. Bathrooms are present onsite. Hope to see you there!
