Seabranch Preserve State Park is located 10 miles south of Stuart along the intercoastal waterway. This off-the-beaten-path park is both rugged and beautiful starting with some exquisite pine scrub and digressing to almost a bush whack.

We will walk 5 miles at moderate pace. The trail should be mostly dry but runs through soft sand giving this hike a moderate difficulty.

Bring water, bug repellent, hiking clothes, sunscreen, and camera or binoculars if you wish. Hiking poles are helpful to avoid falling, even if you use just one.

We will meet at 5:30PM at Seabranch and plan on walking at 5:45PM. There is no entry fee. We will finish by sundown.

There is a composting toilet but I highly recommend stopping somewhere else before you arrive. It was a little rough. There is also a covered picnic table. There is a Publix on the corner of Cove Rd and Federal Highway.
