For those who like a challenge, **let's do a 25-Trails/25-Miles in 2025**. And what better way to kick-start a challenge than in **Texas Fall Foliage** by spending the day **in Tyler State Park**?

This nature walk/hike will include a **Trails Journaling Teach-In** as we get our health benefits in. So do this with me; let's challenge ourselves to 25-different trails in 2025 and accomplish 25-miles of nature. At this event, we will talk about: (1) how to save cost on park and trail fees; (2) resources to happy trails; (3) how to select a journal for you; (4) journaling prompts to pull the creative energy out; and more.

**This event allows FREE park entry IF I receive your registration details 3-days before the event for park permits AND you arrive on-time for proper check-in.** If you do Not want to send me your vehicle registration info; please pre-purchase a Tyler State Park Day pass for Sunday, December 1st, for the **8a-1p entry slot; and do it early because fall foliage is a popular time for park visits.** See this link for pass details that fit you or your group:

The plan for this event is:
9:30am - Parking permit check-in at headquarters.
10am - Lakeshore trail head for opening circle (4mi easy).
Noon - Journaling Teach-In over your own lunch.
1:30pm - C-Loop (1.5mi challenging).

This activity should be great for all ages and pets.

**DO WEAR Hard Sole Shoes.** Please dress for the weather, rain and/or shine. There are plenty insects and direct sun in some places. **Do Bring insect repellent** and wear a hat. You might want to consider wearing long sleeves and long pants as well... it's really getting into nature.
There are facilities at the trail head; so plan to empty before we go in.

**BE AWARE OF INCORRECT GPS NAVIGATION. Follow State Park Signs.**

Bring a full Bottle of Water for each member of your party; and lunch for the Journaling Teach-In.
