Our first Northern California 2024 holiday season paddling event. Join Outdoor Afro for a unique paddle board and kayak board lesson and social paddle experience at the Brooklyn Basin Promenade. You’ll learn basic paddling skills on our extra-wide and stable paddle boards in a supportive environment, then put them into practice alongside others. The event is designed for all experience levels, requiring a medium fitness level, and focuses on community connection, nature appreciation, and music.

What to Bring:
• Layered, comfortable clothing
• Hat
• Snacks and water
• Positive energy and an adventurous spirit

Additional Notes:
• Please expect to help inflate your own board.
• The route will involve paddling around the Brooklyn Basin Promenade and back, weather permitting.
