Hike Four Loops at Jake's Branch------8----8.5 Miles

If you are new to my hikes you have to message or email me to register. Priority on my hikes will be given to those who attend the hikes or who cancel their reservation least 24 hours ahead of time.
This park is a hidden gem in the pine barrens of Ocean County. It is a 400 acre park and has 9+ miles of nature trails. It also contains a Nature Center with exhibits about the history, wildlife and ecology of the Pinelands.

We begin on the Bike/ Multi-Use ( yellow) trail ( 2.6 miles) at the parking lot and travel in a loop back to Parking Lot for short break ( restrooms, snacks clothing adjustments etc.) After break we begin on yellow trail to the Tindey Loop ( blue trail) ( 3.8 miles.) . We continue on the blue trail to the Swamp Spur Loop (white trail) .9 mile back to blue trail to the Interpretive ( green trail ) ( .7 miles) and finish back on blue trail to the yellow trail .The distance is around 8-8.5 miles at a 3-3.2 pace. .There is a porta-potty at the parking lot. There are also restrooms at the Nature Center.

We will be meeting at the Parking Lot next to the Tennis Courts and Maintenance Center .As you enter the park look for the Maintenance Sign .2 miles ahead, make a right turn to the parking lot. Bring water, lunch and snacks. After lunch if you are interested in hiking a few extra miles, we begin on yellow trail to blue trail and a left turn on red trail down and back.We make another right on blue trail and finish on yellow trail to parking lot.
