Pre-Club Christmas Holiday Soup Tailgate mid-distance 7-8 mile hike

This is the pre-club holiday tailgate soup event mid-distance hike. Your RSVP to this hike is your RSVP to the tailgate.

This approximately 7-8 mile hike will leave from the Pakim Pond Picnic area on the Cranberry Trail to the Forest Office. We will then take a short hop to the fire tower and then return to Pakim Pond via the Batona Trail.

Pace will be 2.5-3 mph, so please know your limits before joining the hike.
There will be rest stops along the way and bio breaks as needed.
There are Restrooms at both Pakim Pond and the Forest Office.
Lunch at the Pakim Pond Pavilion for those who signed up for the tailgate.
Bring water, insect repellant, and sun block.
Cancellation due to weather will be posted by 7:00am on the 21st.
Please NOTE the earlier start time. This is to allow us time to return to the Pavilion in time for the tailgate.
