Maurice River Bluffs Preserve

This Nature Conservancy site has spectacular views of the Maurice River; we’ve seen eagles and nests there several times. The 5.5 miles over the forested edges of the river are a surprising amount of bang for the buck; but the ups and downs over the bluffs aren’t very high and are accessed easily in many places by a few stairs. Lots of history and an artesian well. Poles are often useful. Porta-potty now reported to be at the start; no pets on this hike.
