Wednesday hike at Cattus Island Park

Let’s do approx. 6 miles at Cattus Island Park - at a faster moderate pace (about 2.75mph). This park is one of the prettiest in our area. Trails range from dirt to boardwalks. Plenty of water views, wooded areas, some open fields. A great place to view wildlife. The park is flat, but with possibly slippery boardwalks, uneven terrain and plenty of tree roots. Lots of muddy areas too. Hiking boots/shoes are suggested. Poles if you think you’ll need them. Things to bring: Water, bug spray, sun protection. We will meet in the parking area nearest the Environmental Center (with restrooms). There are also outside Porto’s. Please arrive a few minutes early, to gear up, use restroom, meet others.
