Winter Habitat at Cattus Island

Details

I'm Back! Join me at Historical Cattus Island! This well maintained County park provides a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6-7 miles ( depending on weather & trail conditions) of packed dirt trails, rooted trails & boardwalks enjoying winter in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. The diverse natural setting is enjoyed by everyone. Additional option to take quick tour of the recently restored environmental center. Indoor facilities! Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River. There is a WAWA located approximately ½ mile past the park entrance. Any concerns or questions please text Me at 732-330-6594
