Sound Massage
Breathwork (especially long exhales) help us tap into our parasympathetic nervous system. This system is also referred to as the "rest and digest" system. The breath exercises will prepare us for deeper stretching and the ability to release and relax during the sound massage.
Yin (deep stretching) also helps us access the parasympathetic nervous system which leads to and maintains relaxation. Deep stretching invites our bodies to gently explore our own personal edge and simultaneously, relax and release muscle and tissue tensions and toxins.
Sound Massage can be a therapeutic experience where participants feel a state of release, relaxation, inner peace and harmony. The soothing sounds and vibrations, produced by crystal/Tibetan bowls, chimes and many other instruments, can massage and release muscles, tissue and systems (cardio, digestive, etc.) in our bodies. It offers yet another opportunity to calm our nervous system, reset and recapture our life balance.
