The trip is viable by direct train from London with a short 8 minute taxi journey from the station to the hostel. ALL hikes are circular starting and ending at the hostel.
Join us in an exploration through time in England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Jurassic Coast. Its beaches, cliffs and coastline are an outdoor encyclopedia that reveals the history of Earth across 185 million years as well as the most stunning coastal hiking in Southern England.
Hike through this stunning, diverse and unspoiled area which carries an immense natural beauty and history. The Jurassic Coast’s dramatic cliffs, sheltered coves and sweeping beaches have something for any hiker or nature lover. So put on your hiking boots and come along to explore and admire this fascinating marvel of the natural world.

COST & PAYMENT
Early booking discount £126 until end of day 24th November, £158. Click “Attend” to pay the £20 deposit by PayPal. The remainder is due by bank transfer by Sunday 15th December, we’ll email payment details 1 week before.

TRANSPORT, ACCOMMODATION AND START TIME
The trip is viable by train - the hostel is a short 8 minute taxi ride from Wool station. You are welcome to drive, but if travelling by train we suggest planning to arrive between 7pm and 10pm on Friday evening. On Sunday we usually finish at the hostel between 1:30pm and 2:30pm, so it's safest to book a train back from Wool station from 3pm. You need to arrange your own train tickets and taxi, you can book on the National Rail website: LINK

FOOD
Breakfast and packed lunches are included in the cost and will be provided for Saturday and Sunday. Dinner on Saturday night is also provided. You will need money for drinks for the trip.
Breakfast is healthy and nutritious - typically cereal, porridge with fresh fruit, berries, nuts and seeds, fresh fruit salad, free range eggs, yogurt, toast and coffees, teas etc.
For lunch we provide fruit, crisps, cereal bars and a range of options to make your own sandwiches typically tomatoes, cucumber, houmous, peanut butter, honey, jam, ham, cheese and salami.
After the hike we enjoy Cream Teas - an English delicacy consisting of scones, clotted cream and jam, a tasty treat!
Meals are meat based with vegetarian options. To find out if the food being provided meets your intolerance/allergies/preferences/likes/dislikes etc, please email us. You are welcome to bring your own favourite items to meet specific requirements and there is a fridge and kitchen you can use.
SAFETY - Your guide is a trained hike leader. Outdoor activities involve a risk of personal injury. Please bring suitable hiking footwear and hiking clothes such as warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers - CLOTHING TIPS
