This is a fast-paced hike at 3mph+ for 6 miles. Please sign up only if you can keep the pace. Few breaks. This cardio hike is designed to boost your heart health and burn calories. If I haven't hiked with you on similar strenuous hikes, I will contact you to determine if this is the right hike for you at this time.

Directions: From Stony Brook Road in Brewster, turn on Run Hill Road and continue 1.3 miles, until the road turns to dirt/gravel. The parking lot is on the left.

Difficulty: Fast pace at 3+mph.

Distance: \~6 miles

Duration: \~ 2 hours

Recommended: Water, hiking boots, tick spray, & sunscreen

Facilities: Outdoors.

Weather: Mid 50's. Rain cancels the hike.

The hike: Mixed single track and broad trails winding along ponds and through the woods, with views of Upper Mill and Walkers Ponds.

The level of this hike due to length, pace, some hills, roots. Proper footwear is important.
