Mt Alexander Loop .

This is a hike up Mount Alexander to experience the beautiful native grassland landscape, Manna woodland and great views of surrounding farmland.

Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 40 min to complete

Expect heaps of Roos and stunning bird life :-)

Along the way, we might also spot the small herb Ballantinia antipoda (Southern Shepherd's Purse), which is endemic to the area and a threatened species. On the ascent, we'll follow the Leanganook Track and pass the Dog Rocks. Once we reach Langs Lookout, there is a short steep descent down the Ballantinia Track .
