What we’re about
Many people have the thought that they would like to write about their life, but the idea is intimidating or even embarrassing. Guided Autobiography is a simple, direct and time-tested method, working with a small group and led by an instructor, of exploring a series of themes, writing 2 pages about each one, and sharing them with the group in a non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere.
What would you give to discover in your attic even 20 pages written by a family member long gone, maybe one you never had a chance to meet?
I will hold an introductory series of 3 meetings so that you can explore this practice and see if you are interested in joining a full 10-series of Guided Autobiography. I will introduce some of the history of this practice, the concepts of what makes a safe group, and a shortened practice session that you may choose to participate in.
