Go South

The goal is to use my local knowledge to take in several short sections of cycle path. Park at the Brylee drive reserve, Conifer Grove.
From there we will head to the Southern Motorway cycle track to Karaka. We will take a quick tour of Pararekau Island. Then to the end of the recently completed cycle track on Hingaia Rd. Then we head for the short section of path near Strathallan school. Return and cross Hingaia road, through some quiet streets (and short path) in Karaka to Park Green where we ride the cycle path there. Back on Park Estate rd to the Gt. South road. On the footpath to Drury for the Auranga cycle path there. Then back along the Gt. South Road. Chichester, which has speed bumps on it and ok to ride on, will take us back to the cycle path over the motorway and then cross Hingaia again for the final run up the Southern Motorway to the Conifer Grove Bakery for coffee. Now I haven't ridden the whole thing myself in one go so let me add up the sections! Should be about 35km. I'm looking forward to putting it all together!

As per usual:

Please bring a spare tube for your particular bike wheel size.
We travel at circa 15ks an hour except for down hills.
We have a tail end Charlie to make sure riders do not get lost. We are not too fond of leaving people behind.
Assistance will be rendered for any mechanical issues but we are not bike mechanics.
