Technical Topic Speakers: Will and Taylor
Talk Title: The Endlessly Singing Canaries
Abstract:
Will and Taylor are software developers by day and InfoSec Meetup members by night. Cursed by a security incident in early 2023, they will recount traumas previously restricted to their therapists and share takeaways that we all can learn from.

This talk is based on a real incident and will include stories covering the initial discovery and response, reflections from the perspective of the developers in the thick of it, and a discussion around how the incident changed organisational culture.

Your talk could be here!
We're always looking for presenters and topics for future meetings - contact John ([email protected]) if you have an idea for a topic, or a presentation you'd like to make. That way, it won't always be John talking about what he's been working on recently.

The Hamilton OWASP NZ Meetup usually takes place on the third Tuesdays of March, May, July, September, and November. There is no Meetup in January, as our members enjoy their holidays.
