**What to expect:**
This will be a short social event where we can chat and enjoy some pizza at a bargain price.

**Important information:**

* No shows will be at risk of being removed from the group.
* To prevent people on the waiting list missing out, please do your very best not to cancel attending this event at the last minute.

**The plan:**
We will all meet inside the Holly Bush. Where we are located will be shared once I arrive. We will then all choose our pizzas and order with one other person so that the offer applies. We will then chat and enjoy our pizzas with the event ending between 8:30pm-9pm.

**Q&A:**
**I'm new and feel anxious. Is this group not right for me?**
Attending for the first time is pushing you out of your comfort zone, so it is normal to feel anxious. I felt the same when I first attended. The good news is you will not be alone, as we always have a mixture of new and old faces. Regulars are very welcoming and it takes only 2-4 events for most members to feel settled in. My advice is to give it a shot and reflect afterwards if the event is right for you.
**Do I have to order pizza?**
It is not mandatory that you order pizza. You can choose your own dish, or even not eat at all.
**How will we pay for the pizzas?**
This will be arranged on the day. One way is to bring some old fashioned coins and notes, or do a bank transfer, to pay your half towards the food.
**I'm going to be late, can I still come?**
You can still come, but it would be ideal if you could inform us of this, as it can impact placing orders for food.

**Group Rules:**
These are the policies in place for the group:
**1) Be respectful of others.**
You are going to meet a diverse range of people, so there are bound to be individuals you don't click with. Rather than make an argument with them, just accept you are different. Additionally, do not harass members outside of events. This includes face-to-face and social media sites.
**2) Make sure you correctly update your attending status.**
Not knowing the correct number of attendees can have a negative impact on the event taking place. All it takes is a quick tap on your phone to update your status.
**3) Do not turn up for events you have not signed up for.**
This can potentially lead to difficulties in hosting an event. We don't want to find a member who shows up for pizza, but there is no space on the table!
**4) Do not advertise your own activities in the group without permission.**
Whilst we are happy to see additional events, they must apply to the groups structure. If you want to advertise any of your events, contact Kevin.
**5) Do not take control of events hosted.**
The organisers already have a plan for the event they are hosting. To prevent any difficulties, respect what the organisers have set up for you. Members are welcome to organise additional activities once the event is over.
**6) Appreciate what the organisers do.**
Please remember we are not a business and that all the organisers in the group are hosting events on a voluntary basis. The events we host are for ourselves to enjoy as much as you.
Anyone who does not apply to these rules is at risk of being removed from the group.
