Post Thanksgiving Downtown San Diego Walk

It is time to walk of that Thanksgiving Dinner with a Photo Walk along the Waterfront and through Downtown!

We will meet at the Star of India on North Harbor Drive. We will leave promptly at 7:00 AM after taking the group photo, so plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Important: Park near Star of India. There will be plenty of street parking as it will be early, and as it will be early, you can leave your cars there for free with no problem until 10:00AM.
The route is 3.8 miles long, but with the many deviations to get the shots, we'll probably walk 5 miles plus, so you will want to wear comfortable shoes for this.

Photo ops include (not in order):

The Kiss Statue, USS Midway, B Street Terminal, Rady Shell, Little Italy, Santa Fe Depot, the buildings along Broadway, Spreckles Theater, U.S. Grant Hotel, Horton Plaza, Balboa Theater, Wyatt Earp Building, Yuma Building, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge, the two Yacht Marinas, Seaport Village, and G Street Pier, and much, much more.

Just about any lens will work for this shoot, from fisheye to telephoto, from wide angle to macro. It just depends on what you want to shoot. If you want to concentrate on architecture, I suggest wide angle lenses.
