Details

It starting to get a little cooler. I'm starting to bring out my winter paddle locations. This is a beautiful area to paddle. Use your GPS. It's easy to pass the entrance to the Preserve. If you pass the Queen's Island Park Sign for the beach park as you are heading north; you have definitely gone too far. There are 2 entrances into Queen's Island Preserve (on the left or Intracoastal side as you head north). Take either entrance. The canoe access is on the south end of the Preserve.

What will be provided? You MUST RSVP for this event so we know how many boards to bring. If you need to rent a board; THE COST OF RENTAL, LESSON & TOUR IS $30 (Cash, Credit Card, Venmo, Zelle can be done in advance or day of event. Text me at 561.260.2628 for more info). Cash day of event is also accepted but please show up if you RSVP for this event. Have your own board? It's $10 to help with meetup costs. THIS MEETUP IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Please check out our Fabulous First Timer paddles for a detailed lesson with a professional instructor.

When: Arrive at the start time about 15 minutes before the time listed above so we can get your equipment fitted and be ready to start the paddle closer to 9am.

Where: Carefully read 'How to find us' above. If you have a question, please text me at 561.260.2628 at least the day before the event. Check GPS the night before so you know how long it takes to get to the park.

What to do if the weather is questionable? I check multiple detailed weather and radar forecasts. I will cancel the event about 2 hours before start if I know the wind will not cooperate OR if there is a strong chance of lightning based on thunderstorms heading our way by event time. If I don't cancel the event on meetup; then the event will take place.

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR RSVP IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT. It's the right thing to do. If you have your own equipment please RSVP as well just so I know how many paddlers to expect. See you on the water!
