The Saturday Unwind Open Mic Comedy

We all look forward to our favorite day of the week, Saturday. Nothing feels better than to unwind, hang out with friends, and share a few jokes. That is the basis for The Locals Comedy newest show at Paddy’s – The Saturday Unwind Open Mic. This will take place every other Saturday and run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the pub stage.
An homage to old times, The Saturday Unwind is a chill open mic format where comics, friends, and enthusiasts can relax, tell some jokes, and enjoy a break. Much like any other job, stand-up comedy requires experience to get better. To tell a joke in the break room and make the new intern laugh is easy, but telling it on a stage to hundreds, or even thousands of people is a different proposition. The Saturday Unwind is a true open mic – show up, sign up, and go up. The mic is open to first-timers, up-and-comers, and touring pros.
