Details

This a nature walk led by Steve Mather meeting at the concession store near the river at 2:00 PM. Park @ the paved parking lot. It is 4 miles from the entrance to the parking lot for the starting place. **Please plan (30 MPH) accordingly and do not speed through the park .**From there we will proceed to the Kitching Creek trailhead for a 2 to 3 mile walk/hike. Basically this is a slow walk in low pine flatlands. We will be in the sun most of the time, so wear sunscreen and a hat and comfortable shoes. Bring water, walking sticks, and mosquito repellent. Please have enough water ( 1 liter or more ) and keep hydrated to prevent any fatigue/dizziness issues. ( Thanks )

Enter the park from Highway US 1 North of Tequesta and south of Hobe Sound off US #1 . There is a $6 per car park entry fee .Hope you can make it. It should be a beautiful day in a beautiful park! Leader Steve 561 385-2965 [email protected] (Thanks ) or Ben 561 425-3077 [email protected]
