Directions:To find Halpatiokee Park:
8303 SW Lost River Road
Stuart
Take I-95
Exit at Stuart/ Kanner Hwy
Go east on Kanner, very soon you'll turn Right onto Lost River Road. It curves, follow the road until you see Halpatiokee Park on your left. Drive into the park, go right at the roundabout, follow that road past the pickleball courts, keep going until the end, just before the second roundabout. Look for two pavilions, one open and one screened in, let's meet in- between the two pavilions.
Hike is around 4 miles on a mainly shaded FTA trail along the South Fork of the St Lucie River. Hike may be longer if we walk to the lake.
In case of mud or flooding, we'll take a different route which would have mostly full sun.
