Ranger-Led Nature Walk, MacArthur Beach State Park

Details

There is a $5 per car admission to enter this State Park. Park in the most distant lot from the park entrance and meet at the Gift Shop at 9:45 AM for the 10 AM ranger-led nature walk of about one and one half hours.
We will be walking the boardwalk and Dune Hammock Trail.
This is not a hike, however. We will make several stops where the ranger will point out and explain about the plants and animals. Please be respectful and do not talk when the guide is explaining things about the park. (Thank you) Wear comfortable shoes and a hat; bring camera, binoculars, water and sunscreen. (FYI: If the Nature Center is open you can view the aquarium, live exhibits and educational film in air-conditioned comfort.)
Bring a picnic lunch....leave in your car. We can eat at a picnic pavilion ( probably at Satin Leaf trail) .

Want a great deal and to help the State Park? Join Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park at macarthurbeach.org for $75 per year...with it comes free park admission and free kayak use on any and all visits depending on availability! Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park Memberships
Also at the park entrance you may want to buy the Florida State parks annual pass. Hope you can make it Ben 561 425-3077 [email protected]
