Have you thought of learning Mah Jong but thought it is too complicated? Chinese Mah jong is not hard! There are two styles of Mah Jong- we do not play the one with the "card". Although there are interesting nuances and funny names with the game-It is such a fun game and with an amazing teacher, who breaks the rules into easy steps ,you can learn. Lise Baah, Mah Jong master teacher extraordinaire will give 8 women lessons in her home. She has taught many men and women in the Coachella Valley how to play. In fact, if you are concerned you will not have others to play with, know that there are 4 open games throughout the valley you can join after this lesson-Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Sunday- PS and PD library, play lounge and Market, Market! And, of course, I am sure you will want to participate in a Sunshine Sister Mah Jong game as well- there will soon be over 40 members who have been through the lesson!

There is nothing to study prior to coming- Lise will give you all the info you need. The lesson cost is $30- please Venmo/zelle to Laura Lima by Nov 11 or within 24 hours of sign up since this event is so soon so we can confirm with the instructor. The lessons will take place in her home in the South Palm Canyon area.
