What we’re about

Welcome (in-person meetings),

### Purpose of the Group

The purpose of this group is to provide support for parents who are experiencing child estrangement. Our aim is to create a safe and understanding environment where parents can share their experiences, receive support, and learn from each other.

### Who Should Attend

Any parent who is dealing with an estranged child, whether you are a dad or a mom, is welcome to join us. There is no pressure to share if you don't want to; you are welcome to simply listen and observe until you feel comfortable.

### What Will We Do at the Meetings

We are open to suggestions on how to structure our meetings and what activities would be most beneficial. Our primary goal is to offer support and understanding to parents who are navigating this difficult situation. We will do a workbook exercise at each meeting based on the book for "Done With The Crying WORKBOOK: for Parents of Estranged Adult Children."

### Why This Group is Needed

Support groups for this topic are crucial because many parents are suffering in silence. Statistics show that 54% of parents have an estranged child, highlighting the widespread nature of this issue. Our group aims to provide a space for parents to connect, share, and support each other through their experiences.
