Landscape Restoration at the Kohn cabin
Details
Come join us at the Janet Kohn Memorial cabin near the AT in Bluemont, VA for a fun (really!) day of invasive plant removal and landscape restoration work.
We'll be controlling the invasive shrub, Japanese barberry. The work will consist of cutting/sawing stems and (for interested volunteers) daubing a little herbicide on cut stems (under the supervision of a Commercial Pesticide Applicator).
Bring water, lunch (we'll break inside the great Kohn Cabin), work gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt and sturdy appropriate footwear. We'll provide any other needed PPE.
If you have any questions, please contact Rob Lamar at [email protected]. There is a attendee limit, please if you sign up and later can not attend, make sure to update your status.
